The five-minute make-up routine

We have always had problems with the level of make ups and time wasted by ladies trying to get the right make up for an occasion. Meanwhile on it, you just have to give them the opportunity and the time to get it done. If you are to attend an event for a particular time and your wife is the make up type, then all you need do is wake her up three hours to the time for the event to get ready. but all that will come to an end after going through this article.Really, we live in a crazy, fast-paced world. When you have meetings to attend, emails to reply, and parties you need to be seen at, the last thing you want (or need) is to spend 20 minutes on your make-up. We can’t add more hours to your day but if you’ve got five minutes, then that’s more than enough time to do your make-up, if you follow our tips.
• You may not have time but you’ll still need to cover blemishes and help your skin control excessive shine, so use a cream-to-powder foundation. If you have good, clear skin, save even more time by leaving out foundation altogether and simply dusting oil-free powder on your face.
• Using an eye shadow brush, apply shimmery eye shadow in a neutral colour like peach or brown from your lash line to your brow bone.
• Applying mascara when you’re in a hurry is just asking for trouble -- line the top eyelids with soft, black eyeliner and skip the mascara altogether.
• Beautiful eyebrows make you look groomed, so enhance your (well-shaped) eyebrows with a dark brown eyebrow pencil. Using a brow pencil instead of brow powder saves time.
• This is not the time for lip liner, so simply apply a nude lipstick or lip gloss and you’re good to go. If you have to go out in the evening and there’s no time to do your makeup from scratch:
• Apply powder all over the face instead of foundation.
Applying foundation over a pre-made up face will result in a patchy look. Besides, you don’t have time for all the blending involved in foundation application.
• Apply a little blush onto the cheeks. Since carrying around makeup brushes is a little awkward, mousse or gel blush which you can apply with your fingertips, works best here.
• Lastly, slick on a layer or two of a super bright lipstick and you’ll look like you spent two hours on your makeup instead of two minutes.
