Abuja witnessed the influx of a crowd as it hosted the season five of the Maltina Dance All.
The show held at Nicon Luxury Hotel witnessed thousands of budding dancers storming the venue to showcase their dancing skills. The stiff competition audition lasted for two days.
The high point of the audition was when the Nelson family, veterans from the 2010 edition of the show mounted the stage and thrilled the audience with dance steps which held the audience spellbound and earned them a standing ovation.
“I now understand why they won the third place in last year’s edition” one of the stunned members of the audience said after the brilliant performance.
At the end of it all, the judges picked Bukunmi Olukitibi, Emmanuel Atunonwu, Esther Dare, Pius Apeh, Patrick Dare, Chinonso Omeire, Paul Odigie and Onome Utogo to proceed to the next stage. According to one of the judges, Bimbo Bafunwa, she commended the winners for their versatility and ability during the competition.
“These dancers that emerged best dancers were able to convince the judges with their versatility and ability to switch in time and tune to different beats ranging from hip hop and Juju to Highlife and Latino dances”.
